Movin' at the Zoo Gymnastics

Maria Inzerella and Beverly F. Spell developed this curriculum based on the same ideals and philosophy of the acclaimed Leap ’N Learn curriculum — meaning students move, learn, and have fun at age-appropriate levels. Emphasis is placed on boys and girls developing gross motor skills through movement and gymnastics, while also learning about animals and their habitats. All classes are broken down to very specific age levels as early childhood stages include a wide range of development; therefore, children will only be taught in ways that best fit their cognitive and physical abilities, which keeps the learning environment fun and the gymnastic movements safe.

Movin' at the Zoo — Ages 3 to 4

In the Movin' at the Zoo classes, children take imaginary journeys to visit nine different habits found at the zoo throughout the year. Children gain knowledge about animals found in each habitat through creative movement exercises and basic gymnastics.
