Leap 'N Learn™ Dance

The Ballet Studio at LSPA in Lafayette, Louisiana is home to Leap 'N Learn, a world-renowned early childhood dance curriculum. Written by Beverly F. Spell with applied expertise from child psychologist Dr. Annie Spell, Ph.D., the educational Leap 'N Learn program builds a strong foundation in dance with a focus on pre-ballet and creative movement concepts while also teaching important life skills.

What makes Leap 'N Learn stand out from other dance programs is a deep understanding of the progression of movement and the application of proven early childhood development methods throughout the curriculum. Students only work on exercises for which they are physically and mentally ready. The age-specific class levels combined with developmentally-appropriate lesson plans create fun and encouraging environments where children excel. Designed for boys and girls between the ages of three and seven, these Leap 'N Learn dance classes aim to healthily increase each child's cognitive, motor, physical, social, and emotional development.
